On June 2nd, 2015, Moondog debuted at a farewell lunch for UT’s 28th president, Bill Powers. Both Moondogs are UT grads from 1989, and Ave works as a writer in the President’s Office, hence the gig. 😉  We closed the set with our rendition of Jerry Reed’s “Eastbound and Down.” Ave set it up beautifully and everyone seemed to enjoy the tune.
